Position Overview
OWT Global LLC is seeking a creative and strategic Public Affairs / Media and Outreach Specialist to serve as the voice and creative force behind the Blue List Program. This role drives public engagement, industry outreach, and professional communication initiatives in support of the Government Blue List Program. Positions are contingent upon award of contract.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic communication plans and public engagement initiatives
- Create professional multimedia content, social media campaigns, briefings, briefing materials, and program publications
- Coordinate industry days, training events, and major public-facing activities
- Manage day-to-day media presence and support events and communication to various audiences
- Provide professional media training, internal communication coaching, and related production support
- Assist the Government in planning, coordinating, and supporting outreach activities, including industry days, training events, and major public-facing events
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Affairs, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum of five (5) years of relevant multi-media/public affairs/outreach experience
- Strong writing, design, and digital media skills
Desired Skills & Experience
- Experience with professional photography, graphic design, official remarks, technical articles, and event planning/coordination
- Demonstrated experience supporting Government public affairs in a defense or federal environment
Clearance & Citizenship
- Active Secret clearance required
- U.S. Citizen
Location
San Diego, CA and Fort Lee, VA – DCMA Facility (1 FTE per location)
