About the role
Touchmark in the West Hills, Portland's prestigious full-service retirement community, is seeking a professional, high-energy Pub Server.
Responsibilities
- Greet residents by name
- Take meal orders and answer questions about the menu
- Serve meals and beverages
- Ensure the dining room is clean, attractive, and operating smoothly
- Serve during special events and catered functions
Requirements
- A neat, professional appearance
- An engaging, friendly personality
- Efficient, able to juggle multiple simultaneous requests
- Professional, remembers residents and their preferences as well as their habits
- Knowledgeable about food and beverage offerings
- Personable
Qualifications
- At least 21 years old
- Willing to work occasional weekends and holidays
- Able to lift and carry trays of food and beverages, and stay on your feet for long periods of time
- Able to read, write, and speak English
- Able to maintain patient and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, staff members and visitors
