PTI Material Handler (2nd Shift)

Responsibilities

• Accurately receive, store, handle, and distribute materials, parts, and finished goods
• Ensure inventory accuracy while maintaining proper documentation
• Deliver materials to production areas in a timely and organized manner
• Prepare kits for production and perform inventory transactions
• Conduct cycle counts and operate material-handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely
• Verify part numbers and maintain clean storage areas in compliance with aerospace traceability standards
• Follow company safety policies and quality guidelines

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• At least one year of experience in material handling, warehouse, or manufacturing environments
• Proficiency in basic math and ability to read and understand work instructions in English
• Familiarity with ERP and inventory systems is beneficial
• Commitment to obtaining forklift certification
• Strong attention to detail and effective communication abilities
• Team-oriented mindset
• Knowledge of aerospace manufacturing standards such as AS9100 or ISO is preferred
• Experience in material traceability and shipping procedures is preferred
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing/walking for extended periods
• Maintain a safety-conscious approach in a fast-paced warehouse environment
