Responsibilities

• Review and adjust manufacturing work instructions
• Maintain production records
• Ensure all equipment operates efficiently
• Regularly maintain and repair departmental machines
• Analyze work problems and assist team members in troubleshooting issues
• Set up dies and materials
• Operate shop equipment
• Coincoperate with Manufacturing Engineering on process improvements
• Contribute to staff training, ensuring excellence and safety are at the forefront of our operations

Requirements

• Strong analytical skills for synthesizing complex information and designing efficient workflows
• Creativity in design for generating innovative solutions and translating concepts into actionable plans
• Effective problem-solving abilities, including the capacity to analyze and resolve issues promptly
• Technical skills, such as proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, CNC Pro Machine Programming software, and familiarity with CAD/CAM programs, for operating machinery and managing data
• A solid educational background, typically an Associate's degree or equivalent experience, complemented by strong language and mathematical skills to interpret instructions and perform calculations
• Extensive knowledge of machine shop practices, coupled with physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, for the demands of the role
• A commitment to safety in a moderate noise environment
