Responsibilities
- Review and adjust manufacturing work instructions
- Maintain production records
- Ensure all equipment operates efficiently
- Regularly maintain and repair departmental machines
- Analyze work problems and assist team members in troubleshooting issues
- Set up dies and materials
- Operate shop equipment
- Coincoperate with Manufacturing Engineering on process improvements
- Contribute to staff training, ensuring excellence and safety are at the forefront of our operations
Requirements
- Strong analytical skills for synthesizing complex information and designing efficient workflows
- Creativity in design for generating innovative solutions and translating concepts into actionable plans
- Effective problem-solving abilities, including the capacity to analyze and resolve issues promptly
- Technical skills, such as proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, CNC Pro Machine Programming software, and familiarity with CAD/CAM programs, for operating machinery and managing data
- A solid educational background, typically an Associate's degree or equivalent experience, complemented by strong language and mathematical skills to interpret instructions and perform calculations
- Extensive knowledge of machine shop practices, coupled with physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, for the demands of the role
- A commitment to safety in a moderate noise environment
