About the role
We are seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. This flexible opportunity is ideal for a PTA who enjoys hands-on resident care and helping individuals improve mobility, strength, and functional independence.
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Assist residents with strength, balance, gait, transfers, endurance, and mobility
- Carry out individualized treatment plans based on resident goals
- Monitor progress and communicate updates to the supervising PT
- Educate residents and caregivers on exercises and safe mobility techniques
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Collaborate with therapy, nursing, and the interdisciplinary care team

Qualifications
- Active Maryland Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license required
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Skilled nursing or rehabilitation experience preferred
