Responsibilities
- Plan and administer treatment to both short-term and long-term patients/residents to relieve pain and restore or improve function.
- Ensure all treatment is delivered in accordance with an established plan of care.
- Provide clinical support and instruct patients, families, and caregivers.
- Monitor patient response to treatment intervention.
- Complete required documentation in accordance with company policy and state/federal regulations.
Qualifications
- Holds a current Physical Therapist Assistant license and/or registration in NJ.
- Graduate of an accredited university.
- Previous experience or education in a healthcare or rehabilitation setting preferred.
- Knowledge of human anatomy and physiology.
- Familiarity with medical terminology.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
