PTA Physical Therapy Assistant PRN

About the Role

Join our expanding rehab team as we launch a new, tech-forward rehab program focused on neuro recovery and cognitive decline. This role involves using gamified therapy and interactive technology to deliver better outcomes and more engaging care in a personal care facility.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized therapy programs for personal care residents.
• Integrate interactive and gamified tools into treatment plans.
• Support patients with neuro conditions and cognitive decline.
• Contribute to a dynamic, evolving care model.
• Assist with the development and education of screening processes.
• Assist the Physical Therapist in providing Physical Therapy services, including treatment, program planning, implementation, documentation, and communication.
• Function under a Physical Therapist and per physician orders.

Requirements

• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in the state of employment.
• Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor.
• Passion for innovation in rehab and patient engagement.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Qualifications

• One (1) year of experience preferred.
• Previous facility experience preferred.
• Ability to project a professional image.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
• Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.

VibraLife is a Rehabilitation Center and Senior Living Community in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. It includes a short-term rehabilitation/skilled nursing facility and an assisted living unit. The one-story, state-of-the-art facility is designed to address comprehensive care and living needs post-injury or illness, delivering a fully integrated care continuum for both patients and residents.
