PTA / Physical Therapist Assistant

Adoration Home Health is seeking a passionate, dedicated Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team in Ronceverte, WV. Our PTAs provide expert, patient-centered care in a supportive and fulfilling environment.

Coverage area: Greenbrier, Monroe, and Summers counties.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services planned, delegated, and supervised by the qualified Physical Therapist in accordance with the patient’s Plan of Treatment.
• Confer with the Physical Therapist regularly regarding the patient’s plan of treatment, status of progress toward goals, questions, and concerns.
• Communicate patient’s needs and progress to the Physical Therapist of record and assist in securing special adaptive equipment for the patient to improve function.
• Incorporate the use of adaptive equipment to enhance the rehabilitation program.
• Maintain and submit patient treatment and billing documentation in the format and timelines required by the Company, facility, funding source, local, state, and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted license as a Physical Therapist Assistant by the state in which you are practicing.
• Current Basic Life Support or cardiopulmonary resuscitation certification, in accordance with state regulations.
• A minimum of one year’s work experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant preferred.
• Demonstrates knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injury.
