Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)
Requirements and Responsibilities
- Current NJS PTA License and Registration
- Valid BLS Certification
- EMR Competence
- Mets all State and Federal requirements for US employment in a Nursing Facility
- Malpractice/Liability Insurance (if applicable)
- Collaborate with daily with PT Supervisor
- Follow established Plan of Care for all patients
- Provide quality therapy services to individuals in an SNF setting who require care related to TBI, CVA, Stroke, Parkinson’s, Multiple Sclerosis, Cancer, orthopedic surgery, and other debilitating diagnosis
- Monitor and document patient progress
