PTA Home Health PRN

About the role

As a Home Health Aide, you will provide personal care services to patients in their homes, including assistance with activities of daily living, medication management, and light housekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, and transferring
• Monitor patient health and report changes to supervising nurse
• Administer prescribed medications as directed
• Perform light cleaning and maintenance tasks in the home
• Ensure patient safety and comfort at all times

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Physical ability to perform the essential functions of the job

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare or related field preferred
• Previous experience caring for elderly or disabled individuals
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures

Skills

• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic computer skills (e.g., using Microsoft Office)
