As a Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant you’ll be part of a collaborative team dedicated to clinical excellence, professional development and delivering high quality patient care that helps restore function, improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities for patients experiencing injuries or disease.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct physical therapy interventions to support patient recovery and outcomes.
  • Assist with treatment planning, documentation, and communication of patient progress.
  • Collaborate with patients and the care team to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care.
  • Maintain a safe, efficient therapy environment following established protocols.

Requirements

  • Graduation from accredited Physical Therapy Assistant Program.
  • Current State Licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant required.
  • BLS/CPR Certification required.
  • While 1 year of direct patient care experience in a rehabilitation hospital is preferred, new grads are encouraged to apply.

Physical Requirements

  • A significant amount of standing, walking, bending, squatting, reaching, lifting, pushing, and pulling, often for prolonged periods of time.
  • Both gross and precise motor functions.
  • Lifting/exerting of up to 50 lbs.
  • Possible exposure to bodily fluids.
  • Visual acuity required for patient assessment and documentation of care.
  • Acute hearing required for accurate patient assessment.
  • Sufficient manual dexterity to operate equipment and computer keyboard.

Pay

Hourly rate starting at $29.85/hr.

Schedule

Full time, 40 hours per week (days).
