Essential Job Functions

• Welcome guests to the Sportsbook room displaying the three R1SE behaviors in every interaction.
• Explains Sportsbook promotional programs to potential guests, hands out informational brochures and keeps guests informed of all promotional activities and events.
• Be well-versed in the products and services offered in the Sportsbook room and the ability to promote them to guests in a confident and efficient manner.
• Communicate effectively when explaining wagering to new guests and is able to use simple terms to communicate the process of wagering.
• Obtain and return a cash bank at the start and end of each business day.
• Maintain an accurate count of all money and reconcile daily summaries of transactions to balance cash drawer.
• Place, write, and process tickets as requested by guests.
• Verify and process winning tickets.
• Comply with all internal controls and procedures related to departmental operations.
• Clearly communicate all pertinent information and any irregularities to your supervisor or manager.
• Handle guests' questions and disputes; resolve complaints and difficult situations in a calm and patient manner.
• Ensure compliance with Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board regulations and with the company's internal controls.
• Ensure compliance with currency transaction requirements, Title 31, and money laundering and other gaming requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to communicate in English verbally and in written format with Team members and guests.
• Ability to work in an environment with moderate to loud noise, bright lights, smoke, and dust.
• Minimum one (1) year prior cashiering/money handling experience preferred.
• Must be able to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
