About the role
The role involves leading water safety programs, coordinating with community partners, and ensuring compliance with all safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement water safety education programs for various age groups.
- Oversee water safety drills and emergency response procedures.
- Collaborate with local schools, parks, and community organizations to promote water safety initiatives.
- Ensure all activities adhere to federal, state, and local safety guidelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in recreation, education, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in water safety instruction or related field.
- Valid lifeguard certification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Skills
