About the role

Provides safe efficient transport of patients, equipment, and miscellaneous supplies at TriPoint Medical Center located at 7590 Auburn Rd, Concord, Ohio. This part‑time, regular entry‑level position supports patient flow and requires adherence to safety, PHI, and infection‑control standards.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe efficient transport of patients, equipment, and miscellaneous supplies.
• Performs transport duties as needed and assists in training new hires.
• Communicates with other departments to assess their transport needs.
• Interacts with patients and customers to ensure patient/customers’ needs are met.
• Must be oriented to physical layout of the hospital and locations of patient testing areas.
• Performs data entry and receives dispatch information via Tele‑Tracking System.
• Uses proper body mechanics for lifting and/or moving patients.
• Understands and uses the Patient Identification and Alert Process.
• Must pass fit testing for N95 mask.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Complies with all policies and standards.
• Maintains Protected Health Information (PHI) safely and securely; completes annual training, UH Code of Conduct, and UH policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Education: High School Equivalent / GED (Required)
• Work Experience: less than 1 year; Basic patient care experience (Preferred)
• Licenses and Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) (Preferred)
