PT Tech

Peak Sport and Spine is looking for a Physical Therapy Technician for their Crestwood location. This role assists the Physical Therapist, Physical Therapy Assistant, and/or Business Office Manager with daily patient physical therapy treatment and office tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with clinical tasks utilizing skills certified or trained by the P.T., excluding P.T. skilled activities as defined by the state licensing agency.
• Maintain linen supply in the facility.
• Organize and clean equipment and supplies needed for treatments.
• Straighten and maintain physical order in the department.
• Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with patients and all other customers in-person or over the phone.
• Monitor supply inventory and report reorder needs to Supervisor.
• Report need for equipment repairs to Supervisor.
• Provide necessary educational services and participate in facility in-service activities.
• Ensure a safe and clean facility, including physical plant and equipment maintenance and supply inventory upkeep.
• Perform any other responsibilities assigned by the Director or Administrator of Physical Therapy and/or the Business Office Manager.
• Perform business office tasks as assigned by the Business Office Manager, including answering phones, scheduling and admitting patients, authorizing insurance, filing, copying, faxing, and assisting with co-payments.

Requirements

• High School diploma required; college hours preferred and/or healthcare training.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner with patients, patient family members, insurance companies, and physicians.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to accurately document information for billing purposes.
• Computer experience in Windows, spreadsheets, and word processing preferred.

Pay

$15.00 per hour
