PT Tax Coach (Contractor) - CANADA

About the role

This is not a sales position; our financial counselors host pre-scheduled appointments with members. This is a remote role with very limited travel required. We’re searching for financial professionals who have a passion for helping people achieve their financial goals. We provide full-spectrum financial coaching and education, and we are specifically interested in CPAs or Tax Preparer EFILE Registered to guide members through tax planning. Our coaches love being part of our experienced and professional team. We hold each other accountable for high standards and continuous development. We are people of integrity who thrive on teamwork. Responsibilities

• Host pre-scheduled appointments with members
• Provide full-spectrum financial coaching and education
• Guide members through tax planning
• Help members crush debt, boost credit scores, add emergency savings, swell retirement savings, and rescue discretionary income
• Build vibrant and encouraging relationships with members
• Inspire behavioral change around personal financial habits
• Make financial concepts easy to understand
• Research complex issues to develop innovative strategies
• Communicate effectively verbally and in writing
• Support members two evenings a week
• Empower individuals to achieve their financial goals

Requirements

• 4-year degree from an accredited institution (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years experience in tax planning, personal tax prep, audits, etc.
• Proven track record persuading clients to engage or upgrade to value-added services and solutions
• Motivational skills to inspire behavioral change around personal financial habits
• Superlative listening skills that lead to empathy and understanding
• CPA, CFP, or comparable certifications (preferred)
• A high level of skill and comfort with technology
• An openness to a culture of continuous development and improvement
• A willingness to support our members two evenings a week
• A passion for helping people in need
