PT Sub - Cook

Essential Functions

• Attends meetings (e.g. unit meetings, in-service training, etc.) for the purpose of conveying and/or gathering information required to perform job functions.
• Cleans kitchen (e.g. ovens, surfaces, pots, pans, staff restroom, etc.) for the purpose of maintaining required sanitary conditions.
• Cooks breakfast and lunch foods (e.g. prepared, from scratch following recipes, etc.) for the purpose of meeting mandated nutritional and projected meal requirements.
• Evaluates prepared foods (e.g. flavor, appearance, temperature, etc.) for the purpose of providing items that will be accepted by students and/or staff.
• Inspects food items (e.g. temperature, quantity, quality, etc.) for the purpose of meeting preparation requirements and/or complying with mandated health standards.
• Operates point of sale system (e.g. scan ID, collect cash/ payment tickets, etc.) for the purpose of securing funds for food selection, counting students, and meeting nutritional standards.
• Serves required items of food for the purpose of meeting mandated nutritional requirements and/or requests of students and school personnel.
• Stocks food, condiments and supplies for the purpose of maintaining adequate quantities and security of items.

Experience

• Job related experience with increasing levels of responsibility is required.

Education

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Clearances

• Criminal Justice Fingerprint/Background Clearance,
• IVP (Identity Verified Print) Fingerprint Clearance Card.

Working Calendar

• The working calendar is 180 days.

Salary

• The salary is $16/Hr.
