PT Store Environment Team Member

Store location: Tulsa – 41st St, OK

About the role

Maintain a high standard of overall look and feel of the store, including cleanliness and recovery standards to deliver our Brand Promises. Provide friendly customer service and assist customers in finding products.

Responsibilities

• Collect and dispose of trash following approved procedures.
• Dust and damp mop floors following approved procedures.
• Move equipment and products for proper cleaning and return them to correct placement.
• Clean assigned areas using assigned materials and equipment; may require mixing water and detergents to prepare cleaning solutions.
• Deep clean key areas such as bathrooms, breakrooms, entryways, and high-traffic zones to maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Maintain cleaning equipment in neat and orderly condition; notify supervisor of supply needs.
• Take initiative to identify and complete cleaning tasks.
• Complete all tasks assigned by supervisor.
• Perform tasks in accordance with federal, state, and county guidelines.
• Maintain positive and respectful interactions with team members and customers, even in difficult situations.
• Project a positive image and serve as a role model for other team members.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on benefits of Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards; complete enrollments.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship from Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company programs to ensure compliance with laws and requirements.

Requirements

• Ability to remain standing for long periods of time.
• Ability to move throughout the store, including regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching.
• Capability to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves using a ladder or similar equipment.
• Public retail store setting; climate-controlled public areas, some non-climate-controlled stock rooms, and occasional outdoor work (e.g., retrieving shopping carts or unloading trucks).
• Use of standard commercial cleaners and chemicals.
• Work hours include nights, weekends, and early mornings.

Preferred Qualifications

• Retail and/or cleaning experience.
