About the role

Hannaford Supermarkets, founded in 1883, operates as a local market focused on fresh produce and sustainable sourcing. The store is part of the Hannaford grocery chain and is located at 4 Jenkins Road, Bedford, NH.

Responsibilities

• Cut, mark, and stock cases as per the Center Store training guide.
• Unload trucks, receive incoming merchandise, and verify discrepancies.
• Greet and assist customers courteously and efficiently.
• Maintain productivity levels at or above company standards.

Qualifications

• Effective communication, customer service, and selling skills.
• Interpersonal skills and a willingness to work in a team environment.
• Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements.
• Meet minimum age requirements.
• Able to work with little to no supervision.

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 20 lbs. regularly, including overhead lifting, and up to 60 lbs. occasionally.
• Push/pull up to 40 lbs. regularly.
• Stand or walk 100% of the time.
• Frequent reaching, grasping, and lifting individual stock items.
• Frequent bending, kneeling, and squatting.
• Handle a variety of substances associated with cleaning materials, packaging materials, and food products.
• Tolerate working in extreme hot/cold temperatures for up to 20 minutes at a time.
• Use computers, calculators, and communication systems.

• Observe proper temperature control of all display cases, storage areas, and product.
• Support company safety standards.
• Communicate any needed equipment repairs or maintenance work needed.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Salary Range

The salary range for this position is between $16.25 - $24.35/hr.
