About the role

Hannaford Supermarkets, founded in 1883, operates Harbor Village Store 08009, focusing on fresh produce and local products. As part of the Local program, the store supports sustainable sourcing and local businesses.

Responsibilities

• Cut, mark, and stock cases as per the Center Store training guide.
• Unload trucks, receive incoming merchandise, and verify discrepancies.
• Greet and assist customers courteously and efficiently.
• Maintain productivity levels at or above company standards.

Qualifications

• Effective communication and customer service skills.
• Desire to work in a team environment.
• Demonstrated ability to learn and perform multiple tasks.
• Meet minimum age requirements.
• Able to work with little to no supervision.

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 20 lbs. regularly, including overhead lifting, and up to 60 lbs. occasionally.
• Push/pull up to 40 lbs. regularly.
• Stand or walk 100% of the time.
• Frequent reaching, grasping, and lifting items.
• Frequent bending, kneeling, and squatting.
• Handle various cleaning materials, packaging materials, and food products.
• Tolerate working in extreme hot/cold temperatures for up to 20 minutes at a time.
• Use computers, calculators, and communication systems.

Salary and Benefits
