Summary Job Description Summary: As the Host, you are responsible for welcoming and seating guests in an upbeat and professional manner, helping to create a positive and friendly dining environment. You support the daily operations of the outlet by managing guest flow, coordinating with service staff, and maintaining cleanliness and readiness of the dining area to ensure an exceptional guest experience Job Description Essential Functions and Responsibilities Provide timely and courteous guest service consistent with the company’s guest service cultureGreet guests warmly and escort them to tables while managing incoming calls and guest inquiriesEnsure tables are properly set and station readiness meets department standards throughout the shiftCommunicate effectively with servers when seating guests outside of designated sectionsMaintain and inspect menus for cleanliness and availabilityAssist with guest accommodations, including seating guests with disabilities or childrenCommunicate VIP arrivals or guest special requests to appropriate personnelResolve guest issues or complaints promptly, or escalate to a manager when necessaryMaintain working knowledge of the menu, including current specialsEnsure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the positionProvide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company’s guest service culture standardsPerform other duties as assigned Qualifications 6 months of experience in a full-service dining venue preferredAbility to follow instructions and complete tasks accurately in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication skills and willingness to work as part of a teamCommitted to fostering a respectful, inclusive, and safety-conscious work environment Requirements At least 18 years of ageHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredAbility to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbalObtain and maintain all work cards as required by the companyVerify right to work in the United States Work Cards Required based on property location or regional regulations Physical Requirements Frequently push/pull, lift and/or carry up to 50lbs. at floor, knee, waist, and chest levelsRegularly squat, kneel, reach, bend, twistOccasionally sit and work at a desk or computerFrequently standing and walkingAbility to communicate using in-person speech, radios, and telephoneAbility to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sound in person Ability to distinguish between shades of colorAbility to use tools or equipment requiring a high degree of dexterity Work Environment Potential Conditions IndoorNoisyBright flashing lightsExtreme HeightsExtreme hot & cold temperaturesSlippery surfacesExposure to dust, fumes and/or gases Disclaimer The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
