PT - PM Dishwasher - Westin Tempe

Part-time PM Dishwasher position available in the Culinary Department at The Westin Tempe. Shifts include weekends and holidays.

About the Role

A Dishwasher plays a key role in servicing our guests by ensuring all dishes and cooking utensils are cleaned efficiently and professionally, contributing to an extremely high level of guest satisfaction. This position supports the kitchen and restaurant operations in maintaining cleanliness and organization.

Responsibilities

• Operate the dishwasher to properly clean all dishes and cooking utensils used in the kitchen and restaurant.
• Scrub pots and re-stock supplies in assigned areas.
• Perform general kitchen cleaning duties, including mopping floors and trash removal.
• Maintain cleanliness in all kitchen areas, the Team Member cafeteria, and loading dock.
• Perform routine cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products to adhere to health standards.
• Assist with unexpected spills and special guest requests as needed.
• Support co-workers and contribute as a team player.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate in English.
• Self-starting personality with a professional and even disposition.
• Ability to maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times.
• Strong communication skills with guests and team members.
• Willingness to assist co-workers and work collaboratively.
• Ability to stand and/or walk for prolonged periods.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
