About the role
Join the Rehabilitation Services team at Glendive Medical Center and play a vital role in helping individuals regain mobility, restore function, and achieve their highest level of independence.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve mobility and function
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed
- Supervise and support Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs)
- Educate patients and families on treatment goals, recovery, and injury prevention
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Requirements
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy
- Current Montana Physical Therapist license
- Strong clinical judgment and assessment skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- A passion for helping patients achieve their rehabilitation goals
Physical Requirements
- Frequent standing and walking throughout the workday
- Ability to lift, transfer, position, and assist patients
- Frequent reaching, bending, stooping, kneeling, and crouching
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds when necessary
