About the role

This role focuses on assisting customers and managing telephone inquiries at a pharmacy location. Team members contribute to building strong families and healthy communities while adhering to company values of care, courage, integrity, teamwork, and humor.

Responsibilities

• Review the work schedule promptly at the start of each shift.
• Assist customers at the counter and handle telephone calls.
• Verify customer identification for regulated products when required.
• Follow company policies, safety regulations, and all state and federal pharmacy laws.
• Understand and comply with Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) information for workplace materials.
• Complete required training, including Lockout/Tagout, Confined Space, Right-to-Know, HIPAA for Pharmacy Associates, and additional pharmacy-specific training.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must meet state-required minimum age for the position.
• Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening.
• Must be able to read, write, communicate, and understand instructions to comply with company policies and safety regulations.
• Must complete the company’s 60-day introductory (probationary) period.
• Must meet ergonomic and physical requirements, including physical base scores for the position.
• Must be able to use or learn to use equipment and tools required for the job.
• Must maintain regular attendance and meet company performance standards.
• Must perform all job functions safely.
• Must wear assigned, approved clothing and shoes for the role.

• Shift hours: minimum 4-hour shifts or more, depending on business needs.
