PT Pharmacist (10 hour shift)
Position Summary
Staff Pharmacist will be responsible for the preparation of compounded sterile products using and related activities under the direction of the Director of Pharmacy. Assists in the supervision of IV technicians, interns and other support personnel.
Responsibilities
- Adheres to all policies and procedures
- Prepares compounded sterile products using aseptic technique and CAPS Standard Operating Procedures
- Ensures pharmacy compliance with rules and regulations of the State Board of Pharmacy and other regulating agencies
- Reviews orders and prescriptions for admixing and dispensing. Resolves order discrepancies and problems with customer pharmacy personnel
- Provides after hour On Call coverage as needed
- Participates in CAPS Continuous Quality Improvement Program and performs Quality Control functions as assigned
- Maintains positive customer relationships
- May supervise IV Technicians and interns; reviews works for accuracy while ensuring compliance with CAPS SOPs
Expertise: Qualifications
- Required: Bachelor's degree or PharmD required. 1+ years related experience required.
- REQUIRED: Valid Pharmacist license in IL
Schedule
(8:00am-6:30pm) 10 hour shift on scheduled day and one weekend per month. Holiday/overtime as needed
Pay
Salary range is $57.81 - $67.50/hr
