Job Summary

Per Mar Security, an industry leader in providing integrated security solutions, is seeking hardworking, motivated individuals for the position of Gate Security Officer at a home improvement store. The company offers a wide range of security solutions including security officer services, smart home automation, burglar and fire alarms, access control, security cameras, alarm monitoring, investigative services, and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Work independently and be detail-oriented
• Operate a tablet to manage tasks
• Attend the gate and provide access control for customers
• Check the accuracy of orders picked up by customers
• Examine vehicles entering the premises and note any existing items
• Maintain surveillance of the premises to prevent theft, violence, or rule violations
• Report any suspicious activities or criminal acts to management
• Request emergency personnel for high-risk situations

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record
• Technical training or college education in the related field preferred
• Previous experience as a security officer preferred
• Must possess the values of Integrity, Communication, Excellent Service, and Accountability
