PT - Facilities Seasonal Worker
About the role
Ivy Tech Community College is recruiting for a Part Time Seasonal Worker who will support the Facilities Department by helping maintain a safe, clean, and attractive campus environment. The position focuses on landscaping, lawn care, grounds maintenance, and assisting with facility improvement and maintenance projects.
Responsibilities
- Mowing, trimming, and edging lawns throughout campus.
- Weeding, mulching, watering, and maintaining landscaped areas and flower beds.
- Removing litter, debris, and other materials from campus grounds.
- Assisting with additional duties assigned by the Maintenance Manager.
Requirements
- Valid Indiana Driver's License.
- Able to be covered as a driver on Ivy Tech's Auto policy.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
- Working knowledge of power landscape equipment.
- Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
