PT Early Childhood Teachers and Assistants

About the role

The Town of Brookline’s Soule Early Childhood Center is hiring EEC-certified part-time Teachers to join their dynamic and supportive team. They are looking for warm, enthusiastic, and experienced educators passionate about working with toddlers and preschool-aged children (ages 15 months – 5 years).

Responsibilities

• Work in a nurturing and play-based Montessori/Reggio inspired environment that fosters independence, creativity, self-directed learning, and joy.
• Collaborate with a collaborative, mission-driven team that values inclusion, trust, and professional growth.
• Be consistently available Monday through Friday for the afternoon shift from 1:30 PM – 5:15 PM.

Requirements

• Must hold current EEC Certification (Teacher or Lead Teacher).
• Minimum of 1 year experience working with toddlers and/or preschoolers.
• Strong communication skills with children, families, and coworkers.
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.

Pay
