About the role

Our produce clerks in Stop & Shop stores are responsible for managing the produce department. They ensure that the displays and shelves are filled with fresh, high-quality produce and that the department remains neat and clean.

They also assist customers in finding the products they need, providing knowledgeable and helpful service.

Responsibilities

• Fills produce displays and shelves with fresh, good quality produce
• Maintains a clean and organized produce department
• Aids customers in locating desired items

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in retail or customer service preferred
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Good communication skills

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must pass a background check

Pay
