About the role
Our produce clerks in Stop & Shop's stores are responsible for managing the produce department. They ensure that the displays and shelves are filled with fresh, high-quality produce and that the department remains neat and clean. Additionally, they assist customers in finding the items they need.
Responsibilities
- Fills produce displays and shelves with fresh, good quality produce
- Maintains a clean and organized produce department
- Aids customers in locating desired produce items
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in retail or related field preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Good communication skills
Qualifications
- Knowledge of produce handling and storage practices
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
