About the role
As a key member of the Giant team, you will be responsible for managing a retail store, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving sales growth.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations, including inventory management, staff scheduling, and store cleanliness.
- Manage store staff, providing training and performance feedback.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and customer loyalty.
- Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures, including health and safety standards.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
- Participate in store events and promotions to engage customers and boost sales.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of retail management experience.
- Proven ability to manage a team and handle customer service.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Experience in grocery retail preferred.
- Knowledge of POS systems and inventory management software.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
