About the role
The Giant Pickup Clerk position is responsible for managing the checkout process for customers picking up orders placed online or via the Giant app. This includes scanning items, processing payments, and ensuring a smooth and efficient customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Scan and process payment for customer orders
- Ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints
- Manage inventory levels and restock as needed
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized checkout area
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with point-of-sale systems
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Valid driver’s license (if applicable)
