About the role
Our meat clerks select the best cuts for customers and help them find what they need. They also stock and maintain display cases and help our meat cutters weigh, prepare, label and package products. Additional responsibilities may vary based on store needs.
Responsibilities
- Select and prepare meat products for customers
- Stock and maintain display cases
- Help meat cutters with packaging and labeling
- Assist with other tasks as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Experience in a retail environment preferred
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills
- Customer service orientation
- Attention to detail
Skills
- Knowledge of meat products and preparation techniques
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)
