About the role
Our meat clerks at Stop & Shop are responsible for selecting the best cuts for customers and helping them find what they need. They also stock and maintain display cases and assist in packaging products.
Responsibilities
- Select and prepare meat products for customers
- Stock and maintain display cases
- Package products as needed
- Assist with other tasks as required
Requirements
Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, and experience in a retail environment is preferred. Previous experience in a food service or meat department is beneficial.
Qualifications
Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
Skills
Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential.
