About the role

Our meat clerks at Stop & Shop are responsible for selecting the best cuts for customers and helping them find what they need. They also stock and maintain display cases and assist in packaging products.

Responsibilities

• Select and prepare meat products for customers
• Stock and maintain display cases
• Package products as needed
• Assist with other tasks as required

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in retail or food service preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Knowledge of food safety practices

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills
• Customer service orientation
• Attention to detail

Skills

• Knowledge of meat selection and preparation
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)

Pay

The pay range for this position is $15.00 to $18.00 per hour.

Schedule

Hours vary based on store needs, typically 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Monday through Saturday.
