PT Clerk - Meat - 0021

PRIMARY PURPOSE

Our meat clerks select the best cuts for customers and help them find what they need. That's not all. They also stock and maintain display cases and help our meat cutters weigh, prepare, label and package products. This is just a general overview of their job duties. You may be asked to assist in other ways too, depending on the needs of your store.

Responsibilities

• Select and present the best cuts of meat to customers
• Help customers find the products they need
• Stock and maintain display cases
• Assist meat cutters in weighing, preparing, labeling, and packaging products

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Knowledge of food safety practices
• Experience in retail or similar environment helpful but not required

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills
• Customer service oriented
• Team player

Skills

• Knowledge of meat selection and preparation
• Basic computer skills
• Attention to detail
