PT Chaplain - Penn Presbyterian (nights)

Responsibilities

  • Strong verbal/written communication and advanced computer skills including proficiency in all Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to communicate with patients and families about their illness/hospital experience.
  • Capacity for conflict de-escalation and resolution.
  • Ability to work with chaplain residents, in their residency program.
  • Strong teamwork skills and ability to work in a team environment with fluid communication.
  • Skill/experience with the action-reflection model useful to clinical discussion of pastoral care cases.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (Required)
  • Education or Equivalent Experience: Bachelor's Degree (Required), Degree in Theology (Preferred).
  • Clinical Pastoral Education or equivalent, required (at least 4 units, with level II outcomes addressed).
  • At least 3 years of progressive experience in pastoral care or chaplaincy required, with significant experience with trauma.
  • Master's Degree or equivalent, preferred (Theology, preferred).
  • BCCi or BCCi eligible, preferred.
