PT Cashier/Dishwasher

About the role

Elior-Independent-School-Dining is seeking a PT Cashier/Dishwasher for Kennedy Catholic High School in Burien, WA. The position is part-time, Monday through Friday, 10:00am – 3:00pm.

Job Qualifications & Abilities

• Create a positive customer experience while maintaining a safe, clean, and organized working environment.
• Prepare food and beverage products consistently as instructed.
• Work independently and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Read, write, comprehend, and produce finished products from recipes.
• Operate all kitchen machinery and equipment.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and experience is preferred but not required.
• A valid photo ID is required.
• Able to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
• Excellent customer service skills are essential.

Job Responsibilities

• Daily temperature logs for lunch and dinner before the end of the shift.
• Daily production sheets for lunch and dinner before the end of the shift.
• Ensure all items in coolers are properly labeled and dated.
• Assist with catering services for the day.
• Assist with serving at stations as needed.
• Prep pizza for service according to recipes.
• Make deli sandwiches for daily preparation.
• Maintain areas and ensure workspaces are well-maintained and sanitary.
• Count cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift.

Working Conditions

• Bending, stooping, reaching, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Climbing and descending multiple flights of stairs while carrying heavy items.
• High and cold temperatures, moisture, and humidity.
