Responsibilities
- Implement physical therapy programs and activities.
- Follow developed recovery plans and deliver therapy treatments.
- Address the whole patient and see them as an individual.
- Restore, reinforce, and enhance patients' physical abilities.
- Adapt to the needs of the patient and find joy in the variety of work and settings.
- Collaborate with peers and make referrals to help patients get the care they need.
- Put patients first, ensuring they and their families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program certified by the American Physical Therapy Association.
- Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required by the state of practice.
