About the Role
Plains Area Mental Health Center is hiring a full-time Psychotherapist to join our team in our Spirit Lake location. This position is hybrid with in-person and up to two remote telehealth days once telehealth case load can be supported. Enjoy a flexible schedule where full time is a minimum of 30 hours per week with full benefits. 40 hours a week is preferred; however, hours are negotiable.
Pay
- Fully Licensed: $60,000 to $80,000 base salary (30-40 hours per week) depending on experience
- Temporary Licensed: $50,000 to $70,000 base salary (30-40 hours per week) depending on experience
- $5,000 increase for obtaining full licensure
- Required periodic on-call rotation, on-call pay above base salary

Responsibilities
- Assess children and adults through diagnostic interviews and decide on appropriate diagnosis and treatment
- Provides consultation on a case, program, or community basis
- Performs psychotherapy and brief counseling to children, adolescents, and adults in an outpatient setting
- Provide emergency services and interventions as needed
- Regular review and consultation with the Team for consistent communication and treatment for better outcomes for clients
- Work with internal Case Managers on referrals to Psychiatric, Community Support, Habilitation, Peer Support, and other appropriate programs
- Completes documentation according to the documentation submission standards for the Center
Requirements
- MA/MS/MSW or Similar Professional Degree from Accredited Program
- LMHC, LISW, LMFT, or Temporary Licensure tLMHC, tLMFT, LMSW
- Valid Driver's License and Insurance
