Pay

  • For LCSW, LCMHC, LMFT: Assuming Full-Time, 75 units/week (15 units/day), estimated earnings of $90k - $100k/year.
  • For Psychologist (PsyD/PhD): Assuming Full-Time, 75 units/week (15 units/day), estimated earnings of $125k - $145k/year.

Employment Type: W-2 | Fee-for-Service | Pay Per Encounter

Schedule

  • Part-Time: 2 days per week (daytime hours; you pick the days!)
  • Full-Time: Monday–Friday (daytime hours, typically a building a day)

Full-time status is eligible for full benefits.

Coverage Areas

This role includes 1-2 days in Sparta, NC with additional clinical service days in one or more of the following locations: Charlotte, Mooresville, Salisbury, Clemmons, Lexington, Wilkesboro, Yanceyville, Henderson, Gatesville, and Wilmington, NC.

About the Role

Telos Health Systems is seeking a Psychotherapist (LCSW, LCMHC, LMFT, Psychologist – PsyD/Ph.D.) to provide mental health evaluations and psychotherapy services in Skilled Nursing Facilities and Assisted Living Facilities. This role offers flexibility, clinical autonomy, and strong administrative and leadership support.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations
  • Provide individual psychotherapy and ongoing treatment services
  • Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary care team
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation
  • Coordinate care with facility staff, medical providers, and healthcare professionals
  • Adhere to all federal, state, and organizational standards, policies, and regulations

Requirements

  • Required Licensure:
    • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
    • Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC)
    • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
    • Licensed Psychologist (PsyD/Ph.D.)
  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in a relevant mental health field
  • Active, unrestricted license in the state of practice
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating within a clinical team
  • Strong communication and clinical documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with geriatric populations
  • Experience in Skilled Nursing Facilities, Assisted Living, or long-term care settings
