Psychosocial Coordinator – Community Residential Rehabilitation program in Aldan, PA. Full-time position.

About the role

Step into a leadership role where your work directly shapes recovery outcomes for individuals in need. As the Psychosocial Coordinator, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of a community residential rehabilitation program, supervise a dedicated team, guide clients toward recovery, and ensure every service meets the highest standards of care. This role is an opportunity to build a program you’re proud of, mentor staff, and provide stability in challenging moments.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day success of the psychosocial program, including staffing and service quality.
  • Provide hands-on supervision and coaching to your team, both individually and in groups.
  • Deliver direct client services as needed to support the program.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for staff, including 24-hour availability for emergencies.
  • Provide backup supervision to fellow programs when required.
  • Ensure all services reflect recovery-oriented, culturally competent best practices.
  • Connect clients and staff with community resources to support recovery.
  • Assess and escalate cases requiring a higher level of care.
  • Manage staffing, documentation, billing, and re-authorizations with precision.
  • Collaborate with Accounting to resolve billing issues promptly.
  • Maintain budget control and minimize unnecessary costs.
  • Oversee equipment and facilities, identifying repair or replacement needs early.
  • Ensure full compliance with licensing standards, contracts, and agency policies.
  • Partner with your supervisor to develop and execute the program’s annual plan.
  • Track performance improvement indicators, census, and outcome data.
  • Facilitate regular staff meetings to drive actionable insights.
  • Report incidents promptly and transparently.
  • Represent the agency professionally with payers, community partners, and at interagency meetings.
  • Respond to client complaints or grievances thoughtfully and efficiently.
  • Handle HR-approved disciplinary actions in alignment with agency policy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a behavioral health discipline.
  • Pennsylvania Child Abuse Clearance, Criminal Clearance, and Fingerprint-based federal criminal history.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Not listed on any Medicaid/Medicare Exclusion list.

Additional relevant experience and/or education may be considered in place of the above, at the Personnel Officer’s discretion.
