Psychometrist

About the role

We are seeking a PRN Psychometrist to provide outpatient coverage at our Crittenton location in Lee's Summit, Missouri. This position supports the Neuropsychologist on a PRN basis to cover for an absent psychometrist until a new full-time psychometrist is hired and fully oriented.

Responsibilities

• Administer and score psychological and neuropsychological tests under the supervision of a clinical psychologist, ensuring accuracy, validity, and standardization in administration.
• Accurately score assessments using appropriate norms and provide detailed behavioral observations of examinees to aid the psychologist in test interpretation.
• Perform clerical or administrative duties, including patient scheduling, billing and coding of procedures, and procurement of office and testing supplies.
• Administer and score psychological tests for patients with a variety of known or suspected neuropsychological problems.
• Adhere strictly to testing protocols, accurately record and score test results, and maintain a personable and patient demeanor.
• Serve as an excellent team member.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Psychology is strongly preferred.
• Experience with administering or scoring psychological tests is preferred.
• Less than 1 year of applicable experience.

Schedule

This is a PRN position with a Monday through Friday day shift.
