About the Role
Turn the textbook into a first word by helping children with autism build communication, social, self-care, and school-ready skills. Work one-on-one with children while learning from BCBAs, teachers, families, and behavioral health professionals. You will apply observation, reinforcement, data collection, skill acquisition, and rapport-building in real sessions, then watch small, measurable gains become meaningful life changes.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one behavior analytic treatment to children diagnosed with autism and related learning differences
- Apply evidence-based techniques such as observation, reinforcement, data collection, and skill acquisition
- Support children in developing communication, social, self-care, and school-readiness skills
- Collaborate with BCBAs, teachers, families, and behavioral health professionals
- Assist with hygiene/toileting support and ensure safety in dynamic environments
Requirements
- Experience with children through work, study, coaching, or volunteering
- High school diploma or equivalent; college enrollment or degree in psychology or related field preferred
- Current driver’s license and regular access to a reliable vehicle
- Ability to complete Livescan, TB, and immunization requirements promptly
- Comfort supporting hygiene/toileting and ability to lift 50 lbs, work on the floor, and move quickly for safety
- Availability for two weeks of full-time onsite training

Pay
$23-$25/hour clinical wage after paid training.
Graduate students in ABA may be eligible for clinical training and BACB supervision hours based on performance, role fit, availability, and program needs.
