Qualifications

  • Must meet specific individual eligibility requirements for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP).
  • Must submit EDRP application within four months of appointment.
  • Potential award amount and eligibility period are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after review of the EDRP application.

Experience

  • At least three years of experience as a professional psychologist, with at least one year equivalent to the GS-13 grade level.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and ability to utilize evidence-based practices and clinical practice guidelines.
  • Ability to organize work, set priorities, delegate tasks, and meet multiple deadlines.
  • Knowledge of and ability to manage and direct the work of others to accomplish program goals and objectives.
  • Ability to analyze organizational and operational problems and develop solutions.

Preferred Experience

  • Data-driven approach: outcome monitoring, quality improvement initiatives.
  • Knowledge of current behavioral health trends: trauma-informed care, motivational interviewing, collaborative care models.
  • Excellent multidisciplinary communication and collaboration skills.

Skills

  • Ability to deal effectively with individuals or groups.
