Essential Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality behavioral health services to patients with a variety of psychological and medical conditions within the OU Health system
- Provide consultation to other healthcare professionals regarding the psychological aspects of a patient’s mental health condition, medical condition, or hospitalization
- Attend and collaborate with other healthcare professionals in team rounds, didactics, and meetings
- Provide supervision to psychology practicum students, interns, and post-doctoral residents
- May participate in a variety of academic opportunities, including clinical research and education of trainees in psychology and other medical disciplines
- Performs other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- Education: PhD or PsyD in Clinical Counseling or School Psychology from an APA-accredited doctoral program
- Experience: Completion of a predoctoral, APA-accredited internship required. Specialized training in psychology, including a postdoctoral residency/fellowship required. 0 - 3 years’ experience, including postdoctoral training, required. Ranked as an Assistant Professor in Academic Setting
- Licenses/Certifications/Registrations: Licensed as a psychologist in the State of Oklahoma required
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Be eligible for faculty appointment at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center
- Have knowledge of evidence-based psychological assessment, intervention, and consultation
- Have an interest in training/supervision of trainees in psychology and other disciplines
- Have experience in research, program development, and/or quality improvement
