Psychologist I-Behavioral Sleep Medicine

Essential Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality behavioral health services to patients with a variety of psychological and medical conditions within the OU Health system
• Provide consultation to other healthcare professionals regarding the psychological aspects of a patient’s mental health condition, medical condition, or hospitalization
• Attend and collaborate with other healthcare professionals in team rounds, didactics, and meetings
• Provide supervision to psychology practicum students, interns, and post-doctoral residents
• May participate in a variety of academic opportunities, including clinical research and education of trainees in psychology and other medical disciplines
• Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: PhD or PsyD in Clinical Counseling or School Psychology from an APA-accredited doctoral program
• Experience: Completion of a predoctoral, APA-accredited internship required. Specialized training in psychology, including a postdoctoral residency/fellowship required. 0 - 3 years’ experience, including postdoctoral training, required. Ranked as an Assistant Professor in Academic Setting
• Licenses/Certifications/Registrations: Licensed as a psychologist in the State of Oklahoma required

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Be eligible for faculty appointment at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center
• Have knowledge of evidence-based psychological assessment, intervention, and consultation
• Have an interest in training/supervision of trainees in psychology and other disciplines
• Have experience in research, program development, and/or quality improvement
