Psychologist I

Job Summary

We are seeking a licensed psychologist to join our innovative team at Southeast Missouri Mental Health Center located in Farmington, MO. The position is based in a long-term care psychiatric hospital that currently offers forensic and long-term services.

Responsibilities

• Administer, score, and interpret sex offender risk assessments
• Complete mental status exams to assess patient readiness for advancement and discharge from the facility
• Facilitate sex offender treatment groups on an as needed basis
• Provide empirically-supported treatment in a primarily group context
• Participate on multi-disciplinary teams to coordinate care and develop collaborative treatment plans
• Conduct individual therapy on an as needed basis
• Address individual treatment needs and monitor progress in the program
