About the role
Continuum North is seeking Psychologists eligible for Registration in the Northwest Territories and Nunavut to join their inter-disciplinary team. Specialization in Educational/School Psychology (assessment and consultation) and/or Child/Youth Clinical Counselling is preferred. Students and Provisional Psychologists are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including Occupational Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, Mental Health Professionals, and others.
- Provide assessment and consultation services in educational and clinical settings.
- Engage in innovative and humble practices to support northern communities.
Requirements
- Eligibility for registration in the Northwest Territories and Nunavut.
- Specialization in Educational/School Psychology or Child/Youth Clinical Counselling.
- Experience in providing assessment and consultation services.
- Ability to work flexibly with varying hours and commitments.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Psychology or related field.
- Current registration or eligibility for registration in the Northwest Territories and Nunavut.
- Experience in school and/or child/youth clinical settings.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
