Psychologist

About the role

Continuum North is seeking Psychologists eligible for Registration in the Northwest Territories and Nunavut to join their inter-disciplinary team. Specialization in Educational/School Psychology (assessment and consultation) and/or Child/Youth Clinical Counselling is preferred. Students and Provisional Psychologists are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including Occupational Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, Mental Health Professionals, and others.
• Provide assessment and consultation services in educational and clinical settings.
• Engage in innovative and humble practices to support northern communities.

Requirements

• Eligibility for registration in the Northwest Territories and Nunavut.
• Specialization in Educational/School Psychology or Child/Youth Clinical Counselling.
• Experience in providing assessment and consultation services.
• Ability to work flexibly with varying hours and commitments.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Psychology or related field.
• Current registration or eligibility for registration in the Northwest Territories and Nunavut.
• Experience in school and/or child/youth clinical settings.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
