About the role

The Minnesota Sex Offender Program (MSOP) is a residential, sex offense specific treatment program in a modified therapeutic community and secure setting that provides services to over 700 individuals who have been civilly committed for sexual offending.

MSOP is a national leader in the industry and is committed to providing services on the leading edge of the comprehensive evaluation, treatment, and management of clients. MSOP has facilities in Moose Lake and St. Peter, MN. MSOP Moose Lake site serves clients in the earlier stages of treatment in a secure setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide expertise in sex offense specific treatment, assessment, and research as a crucial member of the multi-disciplinary treatment team.
• Conduct integrated psychological assessments to address a range of referral questions, including those related to psychosexual, mental health, personality, and/or cognitive/neuropsychological functioning as well as other treatment concerns as clinically indicated.
• Present information regarding psychological assessment results, treatment progress, and other pertinent clinical data to multi-disciplinary team members.
• Assess clients in crisis related to self-injurious behaviors and/or suicidality.
• Provide leadership and clinical direction to other psychologists, psychology interns, clinical staff, and multidisciplinary team members.

Requirements

• Psychologist 3: Ph.D., or Psy.D. in psychology; AND Licensure as a psychologist (LP) by the Minnesota Board of Psychology or License Eligible.
• Behavioral Medicine Practitioner: Ph.D., or Psy.D. in psychology; AND Licensure as a psychologist (LP) by the Minnesota Board of Psychology; AND One year of post-license experience.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience in administering, scoring, and interpreting psychological assessments.
• Experience in delivering mental health and/or sex offense specific treatment in a secure and/or residential setting.

Pay

• Psychologist 3: $40.63 - $60.39 / hourly; $84,835- $126,094 / annually.
• Behavioral Medicine Practitioner: $40.63 - $67.13 / hourly; $84,835 - $140,167 / annually.

Schedule

• Day Shift; 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
• Monday - Friday
