Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough clinical evaluations by reviewing files, interviewing residents, consulting staff, and administering assessment protocols.
  • Assist with treatment planning, monitor progress, and offer recommendations based on psychiatric guidelines.
  • Provide individual and group counseling and participate in court or mental health hearings as required.
  • Guide direct care staff by discussing cases and participating in clinical meetings.
  • Work with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and revise treatment plans.
  • Engage in required training, review professional literature, and maintain growth toward licensing requirements.

Requirements

  • A master’s degree in a behavioral science, counseling education, rehabilitation, human development, or a closely related field. Applicants within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree will be considered.
  • Must meet Pennsylvania residency requirements.
  • Must be able to perform essential job functions.
  • Conditional offer of employment requires a medical examination, drug screening, and satisfactory criminal history reports (PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance).
  • This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law.

Schedule

Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week. Work hours are Monday through Friday with a 30-minute lunch and rotating weekends (Saturday/Sunday). Possible shifts include:

  • 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM
  • 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Free parking is available. Telework is not an option for this position.

Pay

Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin at an annual salary of $69,086 (before taxes).
